As our daily lives are impacted by COVID-19 and the temporary closure of Gold’s Gym facilities, we are excited to provide free at-home workout classes via Instagram Live on our Instagram page @GoldsGymSoCal.
During this challenging time, our mission is to provide members and our community with FREE tools to stay fit physically and mentally from the comfort of your home.
This circuit training, with our Director of Fitness, Andrea Ausmus, cycles through several exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between. The result is a workout that taxes your muscular strength, endurance, and cardiorespiratory system. We will incorporate HIIT to incinerate calories maximizing our training session!
We encourage you to find light weights around your home, such as filled water bottles, books, backpacks. Whatever weight is within your fitness range, let's bring it!
Taught by our Director of Fitness Education Roman Chavez, this Stretch & Recovery class will improve muscle recovery by helping lactic acid subside, as well as soreness recovery after a workout. Stretching also benefits muscle recovery by increasing length and mobility.
Our Group Fitness Director Cathleen Clarke will give you all the tools needed to center yourself at home through Pilates Mat and Mindful Flow.
Pilates Mat is based on the Joseph Pilates method of improving muscle flexibility, strength, posture, and alignment to achieve body symmetry.
Mindful Flow combines all the best mind and body practices to leave you feeling calm, centered and strong.
Health starts from the inside! dotFit specialist Neal Spruce will be going live to help you stay on top of your nutritional needs. This class will give you tips on dietary sources, intake levels, physiological role, and requirement of major nutrients.
