What amenities are available in-club?

Gold’s Gym SoCal is back to the fitness experience you love. Everything you love about Gold’s Gym SoCal is back and safer than ever! Experience your club with all of the amenities you know and love - strength training machines, free weights, cardio and more in a safe and clean setting!  

Juice Bars, Pro Shop and Locker Room facilities are also available. 

GGX Classes are also available at most clubs. See club schedule for complete details. 

Kids' Club, Indoor Pools, Steam Rooms and Sauna are temporarily closed.

Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties locations now have showers open.

Are group exercise classes available in the gym?

At this time, GGX classes including Gold’s FIT and Gold’s BURN are available in most locations. Check your club schedule for complete details.  You can also take advantage of our online fitness resources below.


My club is open, when will I be billed? 

For open clubs, billing will remain on your scheduled billing date.

For Arcadia, opening on December 8th, billing will resume on 12/21/2020. 

For Downtown LA, opening on December 14, billing will resume on 1/1/2021.

For Glendale, opening on December 28, billing will resume on 1/14/2021.

For Valencia, opening on January 4, billing will resume on 1/14/2021. 

For North Hollywood and Long Beach, opening March 8, billing will resume on 3/22/2021.

For Hollywood, opening March 15, billing will resume on 4/1/2021.

For Culver City, opening March 23, billing will resume on 4/1/2021

All Annual Facility Fees will be billed on your scheduled date. Billings that were due during the closure, will be billed 30 days after we reopen. 

Expiration dates for pre-paid memberships will remain in place. 

* Billing for Kids Club will not resume until the service reopens.


I’m not ready to come back to the gym, what are my options?

We are happy to keep your membership frozen upon request.  Please email retentionteam@goldsgymsocal.com. Please provide a 10-day notice prior to your billing date to ensure adequate processing time. Be sure to include your full name and your membership ID and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

I referred a friend, when will I get my free time?

To refer a friend you must be registered for Gold's Gym SoCal Rewards.

All referrals must be submitted through the Gold's Gym SoCal Member Referral Form PRIOR to referral signing up.

New Member must make 3 payments for you to receive free time.


I am a VIP member, what does my guest need to bring?

Guest must be over 18 years of age and have a valid California ID.


What safety standards are you implementing?

Measures we have implemented include but are not limited to:

  • Touchless scan for no-contact check-in
  • Masks required for all team members and members
  • Staggered strength and cardio machines to allow for a minimum 6 ft physical distance
  • Updated cleaning schedules to disinfect and sanitize high touch surfaces throughout the day
  • Victory Bioesque sprayers, UV lighting within our HVAC system, and sanitation stations have been added to all gyms
Additionally, members are asked to wipe all equipment after use using provided medical grade cleaners available at our sanitation stations. 


Do I have to wear a mask?

The state of California requires that everyone wear a mask at all times in the gym. Members without masks will not be admitted even if vaccinated.


Will you be selling masks if I forget mine?

Yes. We have masks available in our retail store for purchase.


How many people are allowed to work out at a time?

Capacity will be specific to each gym location and will follow all state and local guidelines. All gyms will be required to follow physical distancing guidelines which require 6 ft between members. Physical distancing signage and markers will be used within the gyms to help ensure that distance guidelines are met.


Do I need a reservation to workout?

Reservations are not required.
